SimuSFX - The Ultimate Procedural Audio Lab
A downloadable software for Windows and macOS
SimuSFX is a powerful procedural audio synthesis software designed specifically for game developers, animators, and sound designers who need authentic, raw, and highly customizable machine noises. Instead of relying on static audio samples, SimuSFX computes sound mathematically in real-time, allowing you to craft endless variations of complex mechanical systems.
Key Features
- Node-Based System Generation: Construct custom sounds by connecting individual mechanical systems in a flexible graph editor. Instantly simulate the precise acoustics of industrial pumps, heavy cooling fans, hydraulic pistons, and mechanical friction.

Node Editing Workflow
- Granular Control & Modification: Dive deep into the parameters of every node. Tweak frequency, resonance, modulation, and mechanical degradation to transform clean tones into gritty, worn-out factory machinery.

Real-Time Node Properties
- Blender-Inspired Workflow: If you know Blender, you’ll feel right at home. SimuSFX features a familiar, non-linear timeline and keyframe interpolation, letting you animate and morph sound parameters over time with ultimate precision.

Timeline Keyframing
- Animation & Video Sync (Frame-Sequence Import): Stop guessing the timing of your audio. Import a frame sequence directly from your Blender rendering or animation. Align your sound design frame-by-frame to perfectly match rotating gears, engine revs, or complex visual effects.

Frame-Sequence Video Sync
- Long Track Generation: Generate massive, evolving audio sequences over minutes or hours. Perfect for creating immersive industrial ambiance or non-repeating background noise for game levels.
- Precise WAV Export: Once your sound design is perfectly synchronized with the visuals, render and export high-fidelity, production-ready .wav files with zero hassle.
Why Procedural Audio?
Static loops quickly become repetitive and break immersion. SimuSFX gives you the tools to break free from standard sample packs. Whether you are building an atmospheric factory ambient for a game engine or scoring a complex mechanical 3D animation, SimuSFX bridges the gap between procedural math and creative sound design.
System Requirements
- OS: Windows 10 / 11 (64-bit)
- Graphics: OpenGL 3.3 compatible hardware (integrated or dedicated GPU)
- Storage: Less than 50 MB of free space
- Note: Standalone application. No installation or external dependencies required.
Looking for the Free Demo?
You can download the free evaluation version of SimuSFX below to test the real-time engine and the new **Long Track** workflow on your hardware. Please note that the Demo Version is limited to a **maximum of 5 nodes** and a **10-second animation timeline** for keyframing. Project saving and high-fidelity WAV export (which is required to save Long Track audio) are disabled in the evaluation copy.
Inside the download package, you will find a README.md file with quick startup tips and an important note regarding Windows Defender false positive warnings.
